I can't believe that we are nearing the end of the year and it's been the wildest year yet. TBH, I don't know if I can handle anymore surprises specifically the "let's ruin your plans and take the biggest detour" kind of surprise. 2022 has been a lot and more than I could handle. I feel as though I haven't done enough, but a part of me feels like I needed to sit back and breathe. This entire year has been overwhelming and I hope 2023 will be kinder. I know my potential and what I am capable of, and I won't let myself down. This is a chance to be better for me and my future. My art has to grow and evolve regardless of where I am. So here is to 2023, the year of more mistakes and lessons that will make me a better person. The year that I will finally be able to reap what is sowed and paint my heart out!
In other news, I finished a commission - a pet portrait, my favorite kind of commission. It took me less than 2 weeks to put together and I'm so happy with the way it turned out! I believe this was my first commission of the year except for the mural I did in the start. This was refreshing and much needed as I was beginning to feel a bit out of place and out of touch. I can't wait to work on more projects and bring visions to life!
A special and huge shoutout to those who continue to support me and my art! I couldn't imagine a world without you and your support. It truly means the world to me and I am beyond blessed! Thank you for keeping my dream alive and allowing my art to be a part of your world!
Wishing you and your families a 'Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year'!
